Co-Team Manager
Lea Kašpar

Lea Kašpar
Born in 1984, Lea is currently finishing her degree in Comparative Literature and Hispanic Studies at the University of Zagreb where as a part of her studies she spent an exchange semester in Chile. After participating as a delegate at GIMUN and MILMUN conferences this year, she decided, during a random conversation with her muse Mihael, to organize the first annual MUN conference in her home town, Zagreb. People who know her say that she is a delightful and modest co-worker, always willing to hear what others have to say and definitely not a control-freak.

“Glotzt nicht so romantisch!”, B. Brecht

Co-Team Manager
Mihael Šutalo

Mihael Šutalo
Mihael was also born in 1984. He is finishing his studies at University of Zagreb where he is majoring in Accounting. In 2005 he first participated at BIMUN in Germany, liked the concept, and he was thrilled when the idea of organizing MUN in Zagreb occurred. This gave him the opportunity to work with one of the best companions he ever had, although he had to teach her some accounting principles. Mihael has a very likable personality, expressed team spirit, and people often say he could work with any control-freak in the world.

“There's no business like show business, but there are several businesses like accounting.”, David Letterman

Finances
Zoran Wittine

Zoran Wittine
Zoran was born in 1982 which makes him the oldest member of the ex-com crew. He is majoring in marketing at the Graduate School of Economics and Business, always reminding rest of the ex-com on the importance of four Ps. Lea and Mihael hit him with all this MUN idea out of the blue, but he seconded it with no hesitation whatsoever. There has been a rumor that Zoran was so eligible for the team, because he, apart from his brains, uses both of his biceps to solve problems. In his free time he admires Mihael's impassioned endeavor to explore the world of assets and liabilities.

“Marge, don’t discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It’s what separates us from the animals… except the weasel.”, Homer Simpson

Recruitment
Irena Pereša

Irena Pereša
Born in 1984, Irena is a 4th year student at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb. She had her first MUN encounter in magic Cairo this March (CIMUN). A month later she had the immense fortune to meet Mihael and Lea – after spending one afternoon with them she decided to join the ZAGIMUN team. Her friends would describe her as a very talkative and friendly person. Apart from that, she is also a music freak.

“Is not life a hundred times too short for us to bore ourselves?”, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

PR Manager and Co-event Manager
Iva Šulentić

Iva Šulentić
Born in 1983, she is the oldest female in the team and still at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, majoring in Marketing. Luckily, finishing studies, but still behaving like a high school brat. She was a Journalist at MILMUN 2006 and adored it! The people, the work, the fun… Unfortunately, she couldn’t participate at GIMUN and MILMUN this year, although applied, due to workload in Zagreb. She is very happy to make up for it and is going to work for ZAGIMUN (lucky for not working with control freaks, but muse’s muse). That is her punishment. Though, it appears she doesn’t get it (almost blonde), so she is all hard working, loud and determined to make the best of the first ZAGIMUN.

“Some people never go crazy. What truly horrible lives they must lead.”, Charles Bukowski

Event Manager
Dinka Dumičić

Dinka Dumičić
Born in 1985, Dinka is the youngest member of the ex-com and the only blond at the moment. She is about to finish her studies at the University of Zagreb, majoring in Accounting. As an exchange student, for six months she lived her life peacefully, according to accounting principles and respecting international standards of accounting, but when she got back from Sydney the force was too strong – she had to join the ZAGIMUN team. In 2006 she participated at GIMUN as a delegate, however her greatest achievement was introducing Lea to Zoran, Zoran to Mihael and Mihael to Lea.

Filip "Ficho" Žafran

Filip "Ficho" Žafran
Born in 1984, finished Classic high school in Zagreb but currently on the last year on Zagreb School of Economics and Management. Hoping to get a degree any time soon and after that open an Ant farm. Used to work in film production but after ZagIMUN thinking about changing his career... Can't accept the fact that there are people who don’t have Facebook and ones who actually enjoy drinking beer, medica, biska, tequila etc. Always finds amusing when Lea sings, Dinka dresses up & Zoky makes paper horses.

Miro ‘Miroslav Vučković’
My mother gave birth to me in 1987, secretly wishing me a career of water-bearer at the ZAGIMUN. Her wish became reality thanks to Dinka’s mother, who advised me to contact Dinka - and the rest is history. But enough about mothers, let’s talk about my favorite topic - me, me, me. In my free time I study at the Graduate School of Economics and Business, major in Analysis and Business Planning, hoping that one day I will be as famous as David Hasselhoff. If that doesn+t work I can always join Ficho on his Ant farm or become someone’s personal muse. The highlight of this year’s ZAGIMUN was taking people to Carpe Diem in Varazdin - we spent half of the day on looking for the bar which is actually called Mea Culpa.

“Relax, take it easy, for there is nothing that we can do...”

He chaired the UN Development Programme at MILMUN’s most recent edition and had a blast doing so.
